Welcome Our Returning Head Coach.....Tracey Zilkie!

Coach Tracey is returning to Tofield Skating Club! Tracey has been skating since she was 6yrs old, competed to Junior level in free skate, and finished off her competitive career working on Olympic Diamond Dances. Tracey started coaching at 14yrs old, which led to a passion for bringing strong grassroots development to rural areas. Her dedication to learning and development as a figure skating coach means she's often found being mentored by our sports best, while also sharing what they impart. "Sport is better when we don't gate keep development" -Coach Tracey. 

Having worked from minor hockey into professional level, including building a minor hockey platform for Beijing's largest skating school, she also has a keen interest in working hockey skills in conjunction with skating. 

Coach Tracey's ethos revolves around building mental agility while incorporating a full program approach to athletes; meeting them where they are at, supporting their families, and creating a space where athletes can learn and thrive both on and off the ice.
